American National Bank has chosen not to
participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program.
Customers of American National Bank with noninterest-bearing
accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2013 for
up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
This means all deposits at American National Bank are insured up to
$250,000, but the amount of deposits in excess of $250,000 are not
insured.
